On 3 October, hundreds of bands and performers across the country will be taking part in the musical movement known as We Shall Overcome, which aims to show solidarity with those hit by austerity. The Darwins will be playing at the Tolpuddle event at 6pm alongside lots of other great artists. There will be food and a bar so come along and show your support. Entry £3 or donation to local foodbank.
The Darwins have just returned from the Cornwall Folk Festival in Wadebridge...where we played in cafes, bars and even outside the local Co-op! It was an excellent festival and big thank you to all the organisers, especially Vince Jerrison for the sound and Lynette Rentoul for getting us in. We hope to go back again next year! As part of the nationwide Oxjam event taking place in October, The Darwins will be playing at the Jalarra Cafe Bar in Bournemouth on Saturday 17 October 2015 in aid of Oxfam. More details to follow.
