Let's put the freeze on Tory controlled council

Last week the Secretary of State for Local Government, Sajid Javid announced the creation of a new council for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole in 2019. Poole Labour Party has already got an election strategy in place, which includes training and early selection of candidates, drafting a manifesto and improving our election campaigning. So the work to get Labour councillors onto the new authority starts now! We will be joining with our friends in the other CLPs to ensure that Labour will have a strong local voice that will speak up for the many, not the few.
