The Conservative controlled council and a weak opposition have not tackled the day-to-day problems that local residents face such as traffic congestion, the closure of public toilets, lack of affordable and suitable housing, the rise in vandalism, cuts to school budgets, poor roads and the decline of our high streets. They’ve even failed to make the case for keeping Poole A&E open.
Even before the new council has been elected, the Conservatives have agreed to make cuts worth £27m over three years – whilst still planning to put up the council tax. This means you will be paying more and getting less.
But there is another way.
Labour has a 100-point manifesto for making the new council work in the interests of all residents.
So for you, your family and the future – Vote Labour on 2 May.
